BORIS PETER KOPALA
Born in January 1999 in Buea, he started drawing since at a tender age. He took up painting as a career at the age of 11 years when he attended an art formation and workshops organized by LES BRASSERIES DU CAMEROUN from 2008 to 2012.
He was intrigued by the impact that great artists made in the domain of art and the world. The first impression and the human nature to judge are centered as the subject of the painter's presentation of his artworks, which are expressed in cycles, lines, and figures in his paintings.
Some of his favorite artists are MAX LYONGA, JEAN JACQUES KANTE, WANKO CUBART, and many others who have helped him in the development of his artistic career. In 2010 he participated in the SIARC arts exhibition and 2015 exhibited with UNIFAC in Yaounde, Cameroon. His works were also selected and displayed in a famous art center DOUALART for the JEUNES ESPOIRS 2017 competition. In 2018 he participated in the residence ARTKEO 2018 in Batie, Cameroon, and the 2019 DoulaartFair Douala Cameroon.
